Representative Allen is a member of the House Energy & Commerce Committee where the draft discussion of the law is being marked up.
The following statement may be attributed to IBN's Founder and President Donna Maria Coles Johnson:
"IBN thanks Representative Allen for making his staff available to discuss the important issues raised by this draft legislation. The fact that there have been numerous hearings on the draft over the past few months is indicative of the importance of the issues under consideration. We look forward to working with all members of the House and Senate and other interested parties to ensure that any new laws do not unfairly impact small businesses, the backbone of the American economy."
